Update Post! January 28th (Album progress, first song for February!)

Greetings!

This week, I finished up the basic drums/arrangement portion of all the Patreon album songs, and also have rhythm guitar/bass down for three of them. My goal for next week is to have the rhythm guitar/bass lines complete for the rest of the songs, then record all the lead guitar and synth and polish the songs the 2 weeks after. If all goes according to plan, the album should be finished sometime around the 20th of February. That's currently just an estimate, and I'll give you an offiical date when I get closer to completion.

I also did a little bit of research into the cost of getting physical copies made. I've decided that since I'll be releasing all 10 songs in the last half of March (assuming I'm done in February), I'll use some of the extra money to get around 50 physical copies, and we'll have a random drawing give-away here on Patreon for most of those, and maybe give a few more away during a Youtube live stream.

I was also curious and looked into the cost of getting physical copies of GaMetal V and maybe even GaMetal VI (release date TBA) and the price wasn't too bad (GaMetal V would be a 2 disc set, and I haven't actually checked but I'm fairly certain VI would be 3 discs), so I might also get some of those and have some giveaways for them as well. 

In other news, Bowser Castle is finished and I'm actually about to edit the video together right after I make this post. Depending on how quickly I can get it done, it will be up either later tonight or tomorrow. With that song coming, it's time to reveal the next song which will be the first song in February!

I recently had an open-discussion post about your favorite 3 video game soundtracks  and what they mean to you. A broad array of games were mentioned and it's a lot of fun to read why certain soundtracks have kept an impact on you. One game I noticed was coming up quite often, and even multiple times at #1, was Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong-Quest. It kind of made me feel guilty for not doing any Donkey Kong songs last year xD, so to make it up to you, I pulled a DKC2 song from the Patreon Request List:
