GaMetal VII is here!

Good afternoon/evening/morning Patrons!

Before I talk about GaMetal VII, let's get in a quick GaMetal update! I wanted to first mention that we hit yet another milestone (1040)!! Thank you all yet again for keeping the GaMetal Patreon growing! I'll now be donating 5% of what I make from Patreon to a charitable organization that I may switch up every now and then, the first of which being St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, as they're based in my hometown of Memphis and do a ton to help children overcome cancer and other critical diseases. If you know of any other charities that you'd like me to donate to sometime, I'm open to any suggestions!

I'm also working this week on getting things set up for the last milestone goal we hit: the licensing to get songs up on places like Spotify, iTunes, etc. The first of these will be Lightning Battle, and in time I'll also be getting up some older hit GaMetal songs, i.e. Masked Dedede, Dark Star Core, etc. As soon as I get this going I'll let you all know.

Oh and, of course, since we hit another milestone goal, there will be an extra request list drawing next month!

Lastly in news, since GaMetal VII is now ready, it's about time for another Youtube Q&A Live-Stream. It'll mostly be to help promote VII and getting yelled at for not doing certain songs I said I was going to do last year xD. The date and time for this live-stream will be determined after the next song (Cannonball) is released.

I'm also hoping to get the Gaur Plains acoustic song and video finished for the Atmacoustics channel finished by then so I can promote it on the live-stream as well. :D

GaMetal VII

Shoutout to Kelsey Peterson (nintendonut1) for creating yet another amazing album art cover! She also created the GaMetal VI art and when I mentioned that this year's theme would be ice, she had the awesome idea of making the VII out of ice spikes. Brilliant!

During the last Patreon live stream, I mentioned that I was content with pretty much all of the 2017 sound, which changed 3 times, from Star Dream, to Terrormisu (which I call the Side-Quests 1 sound) and changing one final time with Battle! Team Rocket. So this time around, I only remastered a few songs: Vs. Exdeath, Bowser Castle GBA, Crocodile Cacophony, Brainiac Maniac, Death Egg Robot, Twinrova, and Big Bad Baby Bowser. They've been converted to the current (2017/2018) sound. I kept Star Dream as is because I feel like the sound I developed for it worked out really well.

GaMetal VII is split into 3 main pieces: 

Disc 1, with a few exceptions (i.e. Baby Bowser and Star Dream) is mostly comprised of stage themes and non-final battle themes. 

Disc 2, again with a few slight exceptions (i.e. Brainiac Maniac, Death Egg Robot) are from games that aren't from or didn't originate on Nintendo platforms.

Disc 3 is mostly made up of boss and final boss themes. I think the only exception here is The Fateful Return but I absolutely had to put that before The Defender, haha.

But wait... there's more! For full album downloaders I've also included 3 bonus 2018 remasters, all on Disc 4: Mutual Destruction (X vs. Zero), Splattitude (Splattack!), and Atma Buster (FFVI Fierce Battle) ! 

As we did with GaMetal V and VI, all songs were given original titles, which were almost all submitted by you all here on Patreon via the naming suggestion sheet. Thank you to all those who suggested names! The naming sheet is an ongoing thing so if you ever have a great name idea for a new song feel free to stick it on there at any time. :)

GaMetal VII will be made public (via BandCamp) right before the next Youtube Q&A Live-Stream, which as I mentioned earlier is TBA.
