Sales Tax Coming

I'm not sure if you'e heard or not, but there is sales tax coming to Patreon for some of you on July 1st. Sales tax has already been collected for the UK patrons for the past 4 years and they won't be seeing any change coming because of this.

Patreon has said this will be a relatively small amount collected and not everyone will be paying sales tax. They are required by laws that have passed in several countries about digital content being taxable. I will be looking into how I can adjust things to minimize this effect to you, I'm not happy about it personally but at least I seem to have some control over how this could work out in the end.
