Holy crap, the background is gorgeous! The detail on the rocks and the leaves of the trees reflected on the water look amazing! I think this is one of the best backgrounds I've seen you do. And hey, if you can have sapient floaties, why can't they have figured out how to wade through the water like that if they want to? Maybe they can wear little sandbags, like the opposite of water wings, or something. Or just furry magic!
