At 1:16:16, 85.5% of our footage hit the cutting room floor.
Some good stuff in here you would miss out on with just the episode or extended outtakes, including the process of determining whether or not a message would be hidden in the episode, and Brian and Jason figuring out how to record themselves on the laptop to hide something in a WAV file (which they ended up not using).
We had a bit of a scare with this episode where the footage in the top left corner was completely unusable, and this was after putting off the edit for 3 months because the laptop screen capture was loosely floating around for a while, but after some experimentation we got everything squared away and good for the episode.
The hidden code still hasn't been fully solved (as far as I'm aware), and no spoilers for the solution in this FPE. Either I made it too difficult, or maybe I'm just so bad at making them that it's not even realistically solvable, either way I'll try to put together a reveal video when I get the chance (similar to the subliminal messaging reveal).
