[UPDATE] Hiatus + Creator page changes

HI GUYS HOW ARE YA

My hiatus is almost over (Nov 23rd, officially) and I'll be posting content and billing for December as normal!

During my breather I had a chance to sit down and think about where I wanted to go with my creator page and how to optimise my workflow to avoid another burnout. All the decisions I made were for my health and with the hope to bring some motivation back into my work.

I created this patreon so I could make original comics. I want to focus on The Ocean Soul a bit more, and my ocs, but I also want to reduce the pressure I’ve been putting on myself with fan art and monthly rewards. 

I love making comics and I can’t put enough value on that, but I discovered that I’m producing triple, almost quadruple, the work for what I’m currently earning, and it’s the reason I burned out so quickly. So I’m going to pull back a little.

Removing deadlines for monthly rewards is a step in that direction, I already post a comic page a week on a deadline, so having additional monthly deadlines for fan comics or fan art and having them overlap was stressing me out unnecessarily. 

While I’m working on The Ocean Soul, I won’t be offering monthly rewards on the 6th. That said, I’ll still make fan comics and fanart, I’m just removing the monthly deadlines for them. The same goes for 18+ rewards, I’ll still make juicy art, just in my own time.

Tiers will remain the same! I won’t be making changes to those, as they tie-in with the original intent I had for my patreon page. My goals will be adjusted to better reflect my output ability.

I want to try this out for a while to see how it goes and to have time to open commissions as well! Polls and patron deciding power will remain, I don’t plan on changing that.

As always, I want to acknowledge and thank all of you for supporting me and encouraging me. Without you I wouldn’t have a roof over my head or food to eat, literally. I appreciate your patience and generosity, especially during this time!
