I didn't have the time to pull off half of the animation that I wanted to do in this episode, but none of that matters for the FPE because that's all post-production bay-bee. I managed to trim some details so that the guys didn't say anything particularly egregious, but all in all this is similar in production to an article video, although personally I find this subject matter vastly more interesting/satisfying.

That fingernail nib cold open really tickled me, and watching through the FPE it's so curious when those moments happen. We already had some 6 minutes of takes, and there's never a guarantee that you'll strike gold when you ask for just one more go at it. We've got to move on at some point, so it's always a relief when it lands just right and was well worth the imposition.
