Shortwave! Radios!

Josh flew out to Austin a couple weeks ago and gave us a visit, this is the first of three videos we recorded and the others will be coming up in a few weeks. We went back to the old warehouse for this (and the next) one as a retreat from the Texas summer heat. Our air conditioned locations at HQ are limited, but as we suddenly remembered, the AC at the old warehouse is actually pretty abysmal!

There were a few challenges this time around: setting up the antennae is just 1 cam and (because Bryce had the foresight) footage from a phone because we didn't quite expect so much to happen during that segment. This was firmly in my "dealing with bad poison ivy as large gross blisters cover my ankles and shins" phase, so mobility was a bit limited. There was also some occasional laptop chugging during the listening segment, but it cleared up enough to get the good stuff. All in all, super pleased with how this one all came together, and I hope the follow-ups land just as well.
