This is a long one, and a lot of what was cut was the actual shave itself. There are some anecdotes that didn't make the final video due to keeping the runtime down, as well.
One of the curious production notes here is the zoom lens I ended up using, primarily to get a particularly close view of the facial as shaved. It's an old, cheap lens that I forgot that I was gifted years ago; there's a lot of chromatic aberration, vignetting, short focal throw, and closed down apertures -- but it's tough to beat a 300mm zoom when you need to really get in there.
