May 2020 Recap

It only took 5 years, but May is over. April, however, never existed. So, what happened around here over the course of this past month?

[ PUBLIC ]

We posted 6 new Modern Rogue videos at a total runtime of 1h 49m 22s. We ran through the entire series of The Zeta Provocation, our ARG-esque challenge series that had Brian traversing the entirety of HQ, we delivered an ungodly concoction to Jason at home, and we reminisced over an old social engineering feat.

Our behind the scenes crew podcast The Bizarre Briefing broadcasts live on twitch.tv/nightattack at the turn of every month.

[ $5 PATRONS ]

We only have one video for this tier from this past month, mostly because the Zeta Provocation series has its FPEs being withheld until such a date that its coordinates are public information. Though I did make the time to put together a FPE from an older episode, which holds our record for most concurrent camera recordings (at 7), so it's a curious one to watch.

[ $10 PATRONS ]

Hmm, uh, there's still the back catalog.

[ $30 PATRONS ]

2020 Q1 shirts: the proof got approved just a few days ago, so I think they're being printed right about now, more or less. The long path to fulfillment marches onward.

2020 Q2 shirts: I am embarrassingly behind on this, and with my focus pouring into the zeta provocation series it's been hard to divert time back into this. I have some preliminary sketches for some sheboygan style designs, which I think could be fun, and if necessary I suppose I can always pivot to the Bizarre Badlands fantasy map that I recently made. Either way, I'll try to square away some attention into that, and if the universe is willing, I'll have that finalized and shared to patrons before this month's end.

[ COMING UP ]

We're in the thick of post-shelter-at-home episodes now, and it seems the plan so far has been alternating skeleton crews to keep the number of people on site as low as possible. I wore a mask and kept my distance at the one recording session that I personally attended this past month.

This upcoming month, the crew is looking to go all out and just record an absolute deluge of videos in one go to hold us over for a while. The episodes cover a lot of various topics, and we might not get to everything that's planned, so you'll just have to wait to find out what they are!
