A modern bridge can shift its tone with the world around it. One day it's a crime scene, littered with bullet casings and police tape flapping in the wind; another, it's snapped in half, its concrete ribs jutting over a dry riverbed. In thick fog, the bridge vanishes into mist, while something massive stirs in the water below—silent, unseen. And in the postapocalyptic desert, it stretches uselessly across cracked earth, a monument to a time when water still flowed.

I like these. I'm disappointed with the orientation - the video above shows everything in landscape with the bridge going left-to-right, which is great for digital map viewing on most monitors. But the maps themselves are in portrait orientation - resulting in less viewable details on landscape monitors.
