Jennifer Beck Goldblatt is seeking personal essays from parents on the topic of summer jobs for teens. She's particularly interested in stories about how parents helped their teens land a job (through connections or early encouragement), teens who wanted work but couldn’t find any, creative or unconventional ways teens are earning money, or parents who believe teens shouldn’t have summer jobs at all. She's also open to fresh takes outside of these themes.

Essays should be 500–600 words, with a rate of around $200. Pitches can be sent to jgoldblatt@insider.com.
