We’re seeking passionate, sharp writers who can create engaging content that speaks directly to our 55+ audience with clarity, humor, and empathy.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Write 2–4 well-researched, original articles per month (800–1200 words)
Cover topics such as retirement lifestyle, Social Security updates, health tips, Medicare, downsizing, and more
Incorporate SEO best practices (training provided)
Pitch new article ideas relevant to seniors’ interests and challenges
Fact-check and revise based on editorial feedback
Maintain a conversational, senior-friendly tone—accessible, respectful, and witty when appropriate
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Strong writing skills with a knack for simplifying complex topics
Prior experience writing for older audiences or a genuine interest in senior issues
Bonus: Journalism, blogging, or content writing background
Ability to meet deadlines and accept constructive feedback
Familiarity with WordPress is a plus
COMPENSATION
$100–$150 per article, depending on length and research requirements. Potential for ongoing work and byline visibility.
