WHO YOU ARE
Experienced Healthcare Writer or Clinical Professional
You have a background in writing healthcare content or direct experience as a nurse, traveler, or nurse educator. You know the realities of the field and can translate them into words that resonate.
Skilled Researcher & Communicator
You excel at turning complex, technical topics—like pay structures or licensure—into clear, engaging, and actionable information. You are well versed in citing evidence-based, credible and science-backed research.
Self-Starter & Deadline Driver
You take initiative, manage your time well, and consistently meet deadlines without needing heavy oversight.

You’re energized by The Script’s purpose to reimagine contract healthcare with heart and innovation. You want to help clinicians navigate their careers with clarity and confidence.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Research and write articles on topics such as:
Starting a career as a travel nurse
Understanding nursing departments and specialties
Navigating pay structures and compensation
Licensing requirements and state-by-state processes
Skills needed for specific practice areas
Break down complex concepts into clear, engaging language for clinicians
Adapt your writing style to fit our brand voice: human, innovative, supportive
Assist in building a library of resources clinicians can trust and return to
Collaborate with founders and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and alignment with The Script’s mission and values
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
Flexible Contractor Role - This is a freelance/contract position designed for professionals who may already work in healthcare, education, or other writing projects
Part-Time & Project-Based - Estimated 5-25 hours per week initially, depending on workload and your content areas, as well as assignment timelines. Then, tapering off to an as-needed role. Initial Planning Meeting We’ll kick off with a virtual session to align on topics, expectations, and timelines.
Remote Work & Flexible Hours - Work when and where you’re most productive, within in the US, as long as agreed upon timelines are met. Check-ins will keep everyone aligned.
Paid Per Assignment - Compensation will be set by mutual agreement before each project, based on the scope and complexity of the work.
Room to Grow - While this is a flexible, part-time role, if it is a great fit, there is the opportunity to expand the role into a part-time position supporting social media, clinician education, or travel-focused content.
