As the only US newsroom exclusively dedicated to covering reproductive and sexual health, rights, and justice we are growing, and our editors want to hear from you. We're accepting pitches for reported stories, personal essays, timely explainers, science news and more. If it's in our wheelhouse, and you've got the chops, pitch your story at our new pitch portal. And, yes, we pay our freelancers!

Here are our ranges for freelance rates: $350 for op-eds; $400-500 for reported stories (with the lower end of that scale being for explainers and pieces with a lower editing lift).
