Showtime P1
Added 2022-12-01 19:08:24 +0000 UTC"Showtime" (a temporary name for now) is a personal project I'm working on at night when things are quiet. this is an autobiographical look at my time working as a caption editor, and i have currently drafted what will likely end up being about 75-100 pages of material when all is said and done. my intent, eventually, is to sell this as a digital zine to talk about how destructive our relationship is with media and our political environment. it is a brutal look at mental health and the dangers of prolonged isolation. it's totally different than anything else here, but i wanted to share an early draft of the first page with you guys : >

thank you! it's an area of work im still really passionate about, and i wish i could pursue it in animated work among my peers, but there's just no interest, and the mainstream companies may as well be making us piss in jars.

I wish things hadn't gone so poorly in your experiences in the industry, but you really helped cast people a lifeline and a lot of folks appreciate that
