And while I won't say that something like that won't happen, I feel like it makes more sense for it to be a more gradual process.

Yeah, I agree. It is good to keep a more realistic psycology of the characters so the story feels hotter. Whenever the sex moments are placed in a context there is more to be excited about. This is porn but it doesn't have to be shallow or poorly written because of it. It's one of the reasons I support you, there is some thought about where the story is going :) Keep it up.
