This makes the most interesting story to me. The above when I read it made me think that the chapter would be more interesting and would have a solid narrative instead of just segue from one scene to the next. Well, I had a new idea : Regarding the conflict between the two tribes, maybe it could come from a different point of view about their idol worshipping. They could also see their penises as a blessing or as a curse. One tribe could have statues of a very curvy and feminine fertility goddess in their village, to emphasize on their love for female attributes (i.e. prefering their vaginas instead of their schlongs). Thus, they would treat the 3 other pirates as pure and celestial envoys, blessed since they don't have male genitals. Although the 3 pirates would slowly start to show the natives that having a dick is not a curse at all.
