I've had more than one patron tell me that they're starting to lose interest in this chapter of Side Dishes... I'm sure you've all noticed that we've started to get less suggestions and votes as the story goes on. I'm not totally sure what would be the best way to address this... I don't want to just leave in the middle of the story. I do want to encourage people to focus on suggestions that include at least a little bit to push the story ahead.
I'm also considering trying to add some suggestions of my own for the rest of the chapter. If no one has a problem with that, they'll simply be added to the poll the same as everyone else's lol though you'll probably be able to tell my suggestions because they probably rush the story a little bit

I think the pacing has been reasonable for how many elements and plot points are now in the story. Which at times can seem arduous for those that follow it week by week. But at the same time at this point I kind of hate the idea of rushing the story after it coming this far. Maybe if the support is there possibly consider putting this story on the back burner for a couple months? Do some other much shorter voter driven story for the interim. Then after a while come back to it with renewed vigor? As for suggestions; - Despite her best efforts Bianca finds herself overwhelmed as she is pushed to the floor whereby while Brunhilda continues her onslaught, Liang jams her cock into Bianca's mouth while still sucking her off. - Lily is proving to have better success with Daphine, and though still filled the much vigor, the red-headed futa is starting to show signs of exhaustion.

2015-12-09 06:03:17 +0000 UTCWell, if I were to venture a guess as to why I've kinda lost interest, I'd say that it's become too "bloated" for my tastes. I was under the impression that the idea of the Side Dishes was to have short, alternative stories, disconnected from the main series, and with multiple settings and characters. In my humble opinion, it should stay short and diverse instead of piling ideas on top of other ideas and adding more and more stuff each time (for example, monster girls could've been added to another chapter, like a space adventure or something). The same goes for any comic book series, sometimes you'd prefer a change of story and scenery instead of having an overarching and neverending tale (man, Marvel's Civil War was fucking annoying to read). Of course, that's only my two cents. As of now, I feel that 42 pages for a side story is too much. The first one, the vampire story, was a tad too short with its 12 pages, plus cover... perhaps 20 to 25 would be enough. I'm not saying the story itself is bad (it's still making my nether regions all tingly), just that it seems to be dragging its feet a bit to reach a conclusion. For example, I like the Banana Shortcake idea. It's (very) short, to the point and promises many varied settings, characters and situations. I can dig that. Oh, and to finish while I'm at it, I also think that the "simpler" cel shading you had to go back to for the main storyline is actually better; It makes the page appear less dark than before. Anyhow, make of that what you will. Good luck with wrapping up the story. Have a good one and keep on keeping on.

Which can make some people lose interest, I seen this happen a lot to people who wait for a chapter every week or month or two unless a series is super interesting where the fan and reader have the patience to wait.
