Please Give Your Honest Opinions To These Potential Patreon Changes

So I've talked about it before and some people have suggested it to me. I'm still very indecisive on it and am kinda leaning towards NOT doing it, but just give me your honest opinion on the idea of raising patreon prices. The MOST I would do would be raising the tiers by a dollar or two. My prices have never changed before (excluding commissions which are gone) because I just don't think I'm personally worth that much💀but as some of you have told me, my patreon is considerably cheaper than most creators. I'm down for this because fuck life and how expensive it is, but now it kinda makes me feel like I'm selling myself short, especially since I'm making many expensive content related purchases right now, which more to come so look forward to that. But yeah my highest main tier with the max benefits is $8, which is like a mid tier for many other creators. Idk again at most I would do is raise it to $10, which I still am kinda against doing. Ultimately, it'll come down to the response by you guys. If you are okay with it, I'll look into it. If not, things shall stay the same. Another option is unpublishing the current $8 tier so those who are subbed to it will remain on it until they cancel, and instead I'll make a new $10 tier which will essentially be the same as the current $8 tier, but any future exclusive content for that tier will be posted to that new tier instead of the old tier, if that makes sense. So the existing $8 tier members won't automatically be put on the new pricing and at that point they can decide if they want to transfer to the new $10 tier or cancel altogether

But I can see that bringing issues too though. I can see people having the intention of joining the $10 tier, but not switching in time and then getting charged for the $8. Or maybe not everyone will see the announcement of the new tier, and end up getting charged for a tier that isn't have new content posted to it. If you all decide a slight price increase is fine, let me know which method is best.

Just be honest with me for all this. Again, this is just a question to you all. This isn't set in stone. I care about your inputs. Just know that me asking you this is scary and I don't want to upset anyone.
