I had a couple of his songs on my playlist, and I always respected him, but I never followed him too closely. But he was just kind of... ubiquitous in popular culture. I suppose in some way I was influenced more by the people who were influenced by him than I was directly by Bowie.

Yeah... first Lemmy, then David. Music is not having a fun time, right now. I'm slowly getting worried about Leonard Cohen as well, to be honest. Dude's 81 years old.
