Added 2016-06-18 04:01:20 +0000 UTCJenna's due for quite a surprise when she realizes The Kissing Flamingoes isn't quite how she remembers it. I actually had a little trouble with design of the doorwoman... I wanted it to make sense for her to appear as a normal doorwoman for Jenna, but to still give a few visual cues that she's kind of wearing that outfit sarcastically. So she has big rosey cheeks and a cheesy fake mustache drawn on, plus an overabundance of rings and black nail polish. I also kind of added the back tattoo as a last-minute addition. I felt like she needed a little more "oomph" in that last panel, so I just looked up royalty-free tattoo designs and found one that I thought would look nice on her.

I'll gander that the 'The Kissing Flamingos' has changed over the years from a regular evening lounge/bar to a more punk & goth, fetish, S&M Club?
