Hey everybody.

The schedule is going to look a little bit different this week. Brian is currently in the process of moving into a new apartment that’s also going to serve as our studio space. We’re really excited to show it to you all once we get it up and running, but for now, we’re dealing with a little bit of chaos.

Our usual weekly schedule is this: We record on Sunday, Brian edits on Monday and Tuesday, and the episode goes out early Wednesday morning. It’s a hectic schedule, especially for a show that records as long and edits as much as The Worst of all Possible Worlds. Adding the move on top of this compressed the schedule further, but we thought we’d pull it off. Then yesterday, we recorded our upcoming episode about Into the Woods with the magnificent Mattie Lubchansky. It’s a big topic thats near and dear to our hearts and there were a lot of extended riffs along the way. As a result, the session ran nearly FOUR HOURS LONG. We’re not going to get that done in time for Wednesday.

So, we’ve got a solution: Next weeks episode was going to be about My Cousin Vinny. We’ve decided to reorganize our schedule, record that tomorrow, with Josh editing and putting that out this Friday (October 3rd). This gives Brian a little bit of wiggle room to work the extra long hours on Into the Woods, which we’ll upload back on schedule on Wednesday the 8th. Fancy Movie Time will be out on Wednesday the 1st, so you’ll still have something at the regularly scheduled time. We’ll be putting two FMTs out in October.

For our $10 and $20 patrons, we will find a time, once Brian is moved, to record Ladscast.

Thank you all for your patience in all of this. It’s been a bit of a ridiculous year. You are some of the best that podcast fandom has to offer. We’re so lucky to have the kind of support that makes possible these moves and the opportunities to craft the episodes the way we want them.
