Early Gifts for Patrons (+update)

Even if you don't do holidays, I still have a gift for you. It's a digital version of my Ultimate Modal Poster. I will be selling it on my site for $5 but am giving it away to you all free in pdf and png form. The files are attached at the bottom of this post.

The image has been resized from 24x18 to fit onto an 8.5x11  in page, You can print it out at home or bring it to a local print shop to make a nice small version for your wall to include with your study materials.  It should also work great as a high resolution background image on your pc, laptop, or tablet.

I learned that TeeSpring has increased shipping rates due to the holiday season, so I've made a promotional link that allows you to buy the actual physical poster but not pay for shipping.

The link to buy the poster is here:  https://teespring.com/signals-ultimate-modal-poster and  at checkout, you can use the promo code SIGMAS to remove all shipping fees.

Updates:

I got totally wrapped up this week in producing materials for my theory course. I'm shooting for a release in Spring of 2020, and to meet the deadline, I have an incredible amount of work to stay busy with on top of making YouTube videos. The course will be at least 22 videos, and will have at least 100 pages of worksheets and pdfs.

But I should have been prioritizing my time towards the two videos I'm currently working on- Riffing in Major (for YouTube) and Song Structure #3 (for Patreon). The patreon only video is almost done and just requires editing, so it will post very soon. The Major Riffing video hasn't been filmed yet but the music is written and produced, so that will appear soon afterwards.

I wrote a really cool solo for this next YouTube video and am tabbing it out so it can post here along with the video. It's only 16 measures but I spent at least 2 days writing it and am STILL practicing it so I can film+record a nice clean take of it. It's definitely one of the best solo's I've ever played on my channel. If you're all interested I'll make a video on how I wrote it, but we will save that conversation for after it posts.

Last thing to talk about is my  website- It's been down for a while and I decided to bring someone on board to take care of it because I'm being stretched quite thin with my time. With them helping, it should quickly turn into a functional and practical learning resource, so you may see me linking to things there more often as the weeks turn.

Take it easy and you will hear from me soon!

-Jake

Thanks for the poster Jake, hope one day you'll also have it in a 24"x 36" poster too since my eyesight sucks for the one you have now...

Brian Acuff
