FREE COURSE: Mastering Barre Chord Technique and Theory

You're all the first to gain access to my brand new free course for beginner and intermediate guitarists. It contains 11 lessons, over 20 examples, and a printable PDF. I'm attaching the PDF here but it should be accessible on the first lesson page as well. To access the course, login to your account at www.signalsmusicstudio.com and then click Courses, or just click here:

If you've ever thought about learning guitar, this is a great course to get you into it. You'll propel far beyond most players who flounder for years, simply because you took the time to to learn things slowly, correctly, and in a way that is broadly applicable. Feel free to share it with friends until I post it publicly.

I'll post this entire tutorial as a giant 1-hour lesson on YouTube once my book printer has finished production for Real Rhythm Guitar: Level 1, the first workbook for my updated Rhythm Course. Then it's back to regular Signals videos for a while and honestly, I'm excited to return!

Lastly, those of you who are waiting for me to post my review of your lament bass compositions, I promise it will be posted before the weekend! Hope you can enjoy this course in the meantime, though I know it's going to be a bit basic for some of you.

Great to hear you enjoyed it! I forgot to mention in that lesson, a very small percentage of folks might find success using their pinky instead of their ring finger. But truly, not a lot of written guitar parts demand that 1st string note ringing out!

THANK YOU for addressing those of us whose anatomy won't allow us to bend our ring finger backwards! I know well enough from playing over 20 years that my finger can't and won't ever do it. 99% of the time I just omit the 1st string but if I REALLY want to get that extra 5th into the voicing then I'll fret the 2nd, 3rd and 4th strings individually with my other three fingers. As a side note, I binged this whole course because it's a masterclass in structured teaching as well as learning barre chords. Great inspiration for those of us who'd like to get into teaching guitar ourselves!

Combine this with the rhythm course and you'll be ready for the stage by the end of the year!

Thank you. I picked up the guitar during Covid, finally … Jake your courses are literally teaching me guitar, my goal is to be a solid rhythm player
