Augmented Chords: Explained and Applied

This triad had me boggled for many years- I'm hoping this guide demystifies the concept for you and allows you to easily introduce theharmonic qualities of augmented awkwardness into your music. Not gonna lie, I think this is one of the best lessons (and thumbnails!) that I've ever made. It's a tough topic but I think it comes across pretty simply- at least for the first half that is.

And thanks for the great feedback regarding my last melody video! I'm planning on revisiting the topic with a part 3.5 to write a supplemental melody and have some fun with what's already been written, and if it doesn't make it in to the live Q+A I'll just record it and post it Friday.
