New Video!!! Riffing with Modes #6 - Aeolian/Minor

This is another big one folks- I'm VERY glad to announce that Riffing with the Modes #6 (Aeolian/Minor) is complete! It contains some of the more ambitious video/audio production I’ve ever shared. I think the results will be entertaining, at the very least- hopefully, there is enough insight into songwriting, theory, arrangement, and production that you learn some valuable tips along the way. Do make sure to read the video description to get a little more insight on Aeolian and some quirks in the video, and please ask any questions you might have here :)

I really don’t know what to expect anymore when I get started on these videos- in attempt to keep things new, I take on new challenges that I’m not really sure I can pull off. I think I ALMOST hit the mark on all of them, but as you’ll see, things take a turn for the absurd eventually.

The last lesson on Locrian will be absolutely nuts. I’m scared to even start. Before then, I’ll be doing another Perfect Progressions, and I have another very difficult video I’ve been trying to piece together that might be ready as well.

THIS MONDAY (sept 8) at 8PM CST I will be doing another Live Q+A/Lesson and will once again post the link here before it begins. The link will also be viewable afterwards.

Sept 22nd I will be streaming at 2PM CST for folks on the other side of the pond to hopefully catch. If its anything like last time, it should go for at least an hour and a half plus. It was lots of fun composing and answering questions, if you have the opportunity to join I really encourage you to =)
