I figured it would provide a great opportunity to share with you all how I go about perfecting my timing when learning leads by using counting methods.
This is not specific to guitar! Any lead player will benefit from learning this method. It will also help with improvising and composing as well, not just learning + repeating :)

I've been playing guitar since the 90s, but I never really understood rhythm until I started watching Jake's channel. Using a MIDI keyboard to create (or recreate) songs in my DAW has also forced me to get a better grip on counting/timing. Great post.
