Composing a... Thunderstorm? [Patreon Only]

Come along with me as I tackle a music making challenge: Compose a one minute track that embodies a thunderstorm, and employs polyrhythms. The challenge was posted by Eric Stark in the music games channel of the Signals Music Discord and I decided to give it a shot.

Click the song below first to hear the track to see if it's the kind of thing you'd be interested in learning how to make. Then watch the video to see pretty much every step of the process. The video does have some audio and video errors that are unfixable due to the way I film these, so I apologize if it's distracting but the issues are few and far between. I'll make sure to make some changes to my audio/video routing to ensure that everything is visible and audible for next time.

Check out the discord to hear other people's tracks! I haven't even listened to them yet since I didn't want to get influenced first, so I'll be heading in there now to give some feedback to your submissions.

Monday I'll have a new YT video up (and a livestream in the evening), and am working on some oft-requested videos for immediate upload afterwards. No easy projects on the horizon but I'm excited about each one and that's a good sign :)
