Hear the effect of Double Tracking

There were a lot of questions last week on something I said in my video on studio preparation, so I figured I'd do a brief overview of the concept and hopefully "teach a person to fish" so they know when and why they should double track. It's certainly not a must for every genre, but you should be able to hear with your own ears where it might work better.

This video took precedence over my Harmonic Minor video which I wasn't feeling good about. Now that this is over, I'll be back to working on that- hopefully it'll be done soon!
I'll be catching up on my inbox and messages today so if I owe you a response, expect one by tonight. Take care and see you Monday for another live stream- as before, I'll make a post first for you ask questions

Thanks for another awesome video Jake!! One question though, what if you are playing the same chord but in different positions? For ex. Right channel open e and left channel e on the seventh fret? Or would you do both right and left in the same position and a third track in center in a different position?

Tx.. Very useful video for me! Question for everyone. When you add an acoustic lead guitar on top of a strumming one recorded with this method, do you pan the acoustic on one side and the lead on the other? Not , a little, completely?
