Author’s Note: This is a sort of remastered version of one of my all-time favorite stories. It was inspired by Cormac McCarthy’s No Country for Old Men. Not so much the story itself, I just love McCarthy’s writing style and tried doing my own take on it. It’s a little sci-fi, a little western, and a little neo-noir all rolled into one.
