Because of that, I usually don't draw backgrounds, but we're all here for the girls anyway, so I figure it's okay. As for the show, it's rare to see an anime that depicts theological elements in a way that resembles the source material. The Virgin Witch's Michael easily solos Evangelion's entire cast of "angels" 😂 Not to mention the historical side of things - set during the hundred years' war, making references to real conflict that was going on and the major players - Joan of Arc, etc. It was pretty fun.
