Added 2020-03-13 20:53:16 +0000 UTCSo today's a been a bit stressful... it turns out someone stole my name and social security number and did a lot of... drug dealing and money laundering in a couple different houses rented in my name. The police seem to be fairly understanding, but I basically need to bring evidence that I'm who I say I am to the IRS office. It seems like I'm not in any real danger of jail or fines or anything... but I'm just going to be horribly inconvenienced for at least a day at some point this month while I deliver a lot of paperwork and answer some questions.
