No visual previews just yet, I'm still working through some things and figuring out the best methods to achieve what I'm going for here - but here's a small update for you all.

So far, I'm working on a realistic (as realistic as I can get) handjob sequence. The way these things USED to work was I would create several animations in a category, for example if I was doing a 'slow' category I would hand animate 4 or 5 or so animations. Each animation would usually be 1 second and consist of the hand starting at the base of the penis, with it going to the tip at 0.5 seconds and then back down to the base for the end of the loop ready to loop into one of the other random animations. Each animation would slightly differ from each other to give some sense of randomness, the animations would then loop endlessly into one another.

This method worked fine, but does not work in the way I'm doing things now. In my new approach, I currently have 8 'up' positions and 5 'down' positions. No in betweens at all. The animation blends between random up and down positions, so no need for the in between points because the blend does it for us. With this method, it is truly random. It looks decent enough, with the only caveat I've come across is that the slower the animation the less smooth it becomes.

Meaning at 0.6 speed, for example, when the hand reaches both the base and tip of the penis it feels like it pauses for a moment before moving to the next position. But at faster speeds this isn't really an issue. This is something that we may just have to live with, at least until I figure out a decent fix.

I will get out a visual preview very soon, I just want there to be something to actually see when I give one.
