The long awaited teaser!

First of all, hello everybody! I hope you're all having fantastic days!

I'm very happy to be showing this little gameplay teaser finally, and to also talk about the project as a whole. If you haven't already watched the teaser I recommend doing so. As you will see, this isn't a regular VirtAMate scene. As in, it's not about just getting in and getting the job done.

THE FACILITY is not a regular VirtAMate scene, as stated previously. Think of it as more of a game inside of VirtAMate, because I have essentially re-built the Five Night's At Freddy's gameplay loop inside of VirtAMate - and mixed the expected VirtAMate sex into it! In the final product, if everything goes to plan, there will be a total of 6 girls available - and they will all be active, walking about and shaking their things around, within The Facility. Everything should work out of the box whether you're on Desktop or in VR too!

If you've ever tried having 7 person atoms in one scene, or maybe even just 3, you probably know that it's all but impossible to do so whilst still having anything close to a half decent framerate.

So let me put your minds and computers at ease straight away, performance was and IS my main focus for this project. The girls walking around the facility are NOT person atoms, and thus will NOT blow your computer up. As of writing this the lowest my framerate goes, even with all 6 girls active, is around 90 fps at 1080p. Averaging at 100+ fps. So I'm hoping people on less powerful rigs will be able to hit 60fps on average.

When it comes to THE FACILITY and how it mixes the FNAF style gameplay and VirtAMate sex scenes together, well it's quite simple really. Keep the girls out of your office for the most part, if they get inside you get a "game over" sex scene that is simple, somewhat unrewarding (since it IS a game over, after all) that also ends automatically. Keep them out until 6am and you will get to choose a girl to have sex with - with a plethora of positions, animations, intensities, speeds and locations to choose from!

You have everything you'd expect. Camera management, power management, light management, door management, etc. Along with other unique gameplay mechanics, to keep things fresh and interesting! I also plan on adding animations that are male driven for the first time in my work catalogue (man fucks the woman, doggystyle, missionary, etc) so those who've wanted that keep an eye out!

In terms of progression, if all goes to plan, there will be 5 days to survive as expected. Each day introducing a new girl with her own unique gameplay mechanics, to an extent, and each day getting a bit more difficult.

"But OMEGA, there are 7 nights!" you may say. And you'd be 100% correct! The FREE TO PLAY version will be 5 days and progression locked, the PREMIUM version will have all 7 nights as expected - as well as the ability to skip progression and gain access to the sex immediately. Because I know some people won't want to have to go through all the effort. And for those willing to PLAY the game - if everything goes as expected, I should be able to make an all-in-one save system. Meaning, you will be able to load the same singular scene and it remembers your progress. Without having to save your own version of the scene!

I'm still working away, and still hope to hit the release date I announced previously. If anything changes, I'll be sure to let you know. Until then, expect at least one more teaser before release!

During gameplay the girls are XPS models, that's how they have next to no impact on performance. During sex scenes it will be a person atom, similar to how I did it in my previous scene THE GIRLS. You will technically be able to change the models for the sex scenes yes - but as per usual, doing so is going to be likely to cause some issues somewhere in some way.

Really excited for this! Quick question about the performance - during the sex scenes are they still animated CUAs or are they person atoms? I was hoping to replace the CryptiaCurves models with the ones Mopedlampe is making. It's worked in your other FNAF scenes.If they are all CUAs how are they animated? Is it possible to animate them with timeline (meaning it's theoretically possible to save as presets and put on a person atom) or are the animations added in unity?
