These past three months have been a journey, to say the least.

When I assembled the Time Wizard Studios team, I came to my newly minted teammates with tattered assets and hobbled ideas that I'd clutched onto for years.

I stood before them, baring my essence (and all my gross fetishes I hoped to implement), and somehow this group of nomadic freelancers saw something in my vision. So, we did the only thing we could do.

We sat down and we got to work.

For nine months, in complete secrecy, we toiled. We drew. We wrote. We cried, we laughed, we coomed — we did it all!

Three months ago, we plopped our hentai baby into those parts of the internet that you only ever learn about during friendless summer vacations in front of the computer screen.

The reaction to the demo was amazing! 

My goal was always to create my dream game — a game that I wanted to play — and the support we got was overwhelming. Day by day, I watched in amazement as people showered us with positive comments and support.

However, life is not a fairytale, and sometimes you run into problems. Big problems.

Shortly after our demo launch, we lost a founding team member, our lead programmer. He was a crucial teammate, a friend, and one of this project's biggest supporters.

And I can truly sit here and say that I only feel sadness and regret over how things turned ended. I had to learn many humiliating but valuable lessons about myself and what it takes to lead a team.

Unfortunately, there were still bumps in the road to come.

Attempts to recruit a new developer crashed and burned.

Corona-chan was on our asses.

Things were not looking good.

There were moments I was ready to let the whole thing crumble through my fingers, but much thanks to the patience and positivity from you guys, we preserved.

Our release date had to be pushed back, but we made it, and now it's finally here!

And trust me, it was worth the fucking wait.

Driven by the necessity to bring you, the unwashed masses, nothing but the dirtiest, filthiest, and most obscene smut that video games have to offer.

I am happy to finally announce that on May 5th, the three month anniversary of our launch date, we will be releasing our first update for Another Chance! 

As a thank you for the unwavering support these past few months, this update will first be available to our tier 2 patrons. For everyone else, the game will become available and free to play two weeks later on May 19th. In the future, we're aiming to provide our tier 2 patrons (and up) with updates a month ahead of the public.

So, now that you've spent the past twenty minutes deciphering the mad ramblings of a sleep-deprived, over-stressed, incel eroge developer, I think it's time to tell you what fuck we've been up to for the past three months.

This update, the first out of many more to come, will include:

• A crapload of fun and engaging quests spread out over 10 new locations, featuring 8 fully implemented characters!
• Several beautifully drawn CG scenes featuring your favorite nubile girls in their most vulnerable states. Over 10 brand new scenes!
• Explore Newfall High! Roam freely around our new locations, go on adventures, play mini-games, gather clues, solve puzzles, and sow those wild oats!
• A metric fuck-amount of items and objects with hilarious and poignant lines!
• A robust inventory system, allowing you to pick up items, use em, combine them, chuck 'em, fuck 'em, and then shove 'em up your butt!
• Fucking X-ray glasses!!!! (sold separately)

Trust me guys, words cannot do this update justice. This shit is fun.

A lot of these features were possible due to rebuilding our entire engine. This new engine is a fucking piece of beauty. I am so excited because with this update we are laying the groundwork for more awesome shit to come!
