Breast Bouncing Research

When reality is different than preconceived notions...

For some reason, I always thought that boobs are stiffer than they should be -- that they don't bounce that much. However, looking at my previous post, there's just something really off about the way the boobs bounce. 

So, I decided to do a little research and I found this:

I wonder why I set the physics to stiffer boobs rather than bouncier boobs. Could it be that I've been too used to seeing women run around in bras or the media saying how unrealistic the portrayal of women are in video games... I am not sure, but you can't dispute hard scientific evidence ...

Interesting study and reference. Though the girl had implants so that's going to affect the outcome. You got your work cut out for you. It's a very fine balance and even then comes down to personal preference. The way I look at it is an "exaggerated" bounce is necessary to make it more immersive and/or enjoyable. Where you want the player to focus on them cause their nice, not because it looks weird and it seems like your falling within the range of the former. The reason I say exaggerated is because of that good 'ol rule of animation and acting, where in order to really sell something that artificial it has have more movement and emotion than normal.

Excellent, heading in the right direction... personally, I feel like there is too much after-jiggle. If you check your research again, (for science) you notice that at the end, when she stops, the boobs come down, hit the low point, bounce back up and then settle again after only 3 or 4 little microwobbles. Where as in your capture they're still wildly bobbing. That's just my opinion anyway.
