A poll about a grinder comparison video format
Added 2023-04-27 15:17:28 +0000 UTCHi! A bit of an odd one today, but we've been talking about the structure of the upcoming video covering the best espresso grinder under £500. We could structure the review in two ways, and I'm really interested in your preferences.
There are seven different grinders in the comparison, and here's how we think the video could flow:
A). Category comparison. Here we take one category (let's say build or UX/UI or espresso quality), and then we run through how each of the seven performs before moving on to the next category. This is how previous comparison videos have worked, for the most part.
B). Mini-Reviews. We cover all categories for each model, essentially making a full mini review, before moving on to the next grinder. You get to spend more time with a grinder but less direct comparison. This would be one video, but just structured to have mini-reviews incorporated into it.
Update: As a summary - the video would either have 1 chapter per category, or 1 chapter per grinder.
Both videos would have the same intro and some summary sections and would have identical information. I'm just interested in how you'd prefer to get that information delivered.
Please vote below! (I should say that I can't promise that the result of the poll will guarantee that's what we do in the final edit, but it will be very persuasive!)
If there are comparison reviews of things that you've loved, feel free to share. Sorry this video has taken so long to make. We promise we're doing our best to make it worthwhile.

James - Is there a possibility to get your hands on Zerno and include in the grinder review series?

I find too often mini reviews focus on a quality I don't particularly need (i.e. the reviewer has something they want/need. Like robot vacuums and carpets...). So a category review means I could pick the categories that matter to me, watch those sections and make my decisions.
