Pausing the Patreon

I wanted to write a little update about why I'm pausing the Patreon and hopefully answer some questions preemptively.
You might have noticed a bit of a drop in the frequency of videos recently. This is primarily down to the fact that we're building out a new location for the studios/offices etc and this has soaked up a lot of our collective resources. We took an empty shell, and we've been building out a space that should allow us to make videos way more easily and also increase the quantity and quality of our product testing for things like reviews or technique developments.
I am hoping that we will begin operating from there from the start of June.
I appreciate very deeply all the support this Patreon gives the channel, and feel like I haven't been sufficiently productive to feel like I'm holding up my side of the bargain. If I'm honest, I also feel the pressure of the Patreon and that has been stressing me out quite a lot recently as we've struggled to make the videos and publish the reviews we want to. With everything going on, I'd prefer not to feel that additional stress.
For that reason, I'm pausing it for a month. (Possibly more). Everything should continue as normal otherwise - there'll still be contests for equipment, the discord will still operate as normal, there'll still be videos coming and reviews published next month. Whether you're on monthly or annual billing, the effect should be the same: a month for free.

James, I’ve just joined and in all honesty, for the quite frankly insane amount of videos I’ve watched over the past 2 weeks, I feel I owe you more! Seriously, thank you for the content you produce, looking forward being a part of your next chapter in the new studio. To make you feel that little bit better - since I have discovered your videos, I have cancelled my Pret membership.

I'm here because you already held up your end of the bargain. As far as I'm concerned, you can coast and I'd still be here. I love what you've already done and of course look forward to what's coming. But you have to take care of yourself, as well, and there's no reason to feel any guilt for that. Take all the time you need. We aren't going anywhere.
