A quick note on Patreon DMs
Added 2020-06-01 10:37:44 +0000 UTCFirstly - thank you and wow! This community has grown a lot recently and I'm incredibly grateful for the support on here. It is going to allow me to really be more ambitious in what I'm doing.
Secondly - as the community has grown, so have the number of DMs I receive on here. I get a lot of messages across a variety of platforms. Patreon is the only place where I respond to every message (and if you're waiting on a response and i've missed it, please let me know).
Many of you who message here might have noticed I have been a bit slow to respond. I'm going to try and change my approach and batch answer once or twice a week. (As we head towards 200 messages a month - this is the only way that a terrible multitasker such as myself gets something like this done).
I just wanted to flag this so people know they aren't being ignored and that I will get there! This isn't a request to stop messaging me!
Thank you all again - I'm incredibly grateful.

Recently found the channel as well, and have been watching through all the old videos. I'm really loving the educational aspect, but also the production quality of the videos. Sent a message the other day, looking forward to your response when you get time.

2020-06-25 18:20:53 +0000 UTCI'm new to your youTube channel and patreon going back through your work, wanted to make a note on my "freezing" coffee experience. (from USA) At a store called The Container Store, I found 1.5oz plastic containers, I now have about 15 of them. These would hold a single serving. I would buy a 1lb of coffee from a local roaster, open the bag and fill as many of these as I had and freeze them. On Monday I would take them in a freezer bag to work, put them in the freezer at work. Every morning I would use the Hario Skerton grinder, grind my frozen coffee beans and use my aeropress. You should try it. I do think it did impact the flavor, may just have been getting a good grind from frozen beans. Don't know, not that smart.... Thank you. I have sooo much to learn. -Doug
