Youtube and FEELING.

The next 2 videos, yandhi and record4hype, reflect a philosophy on YouTube i no longer believe in. i'll still upload and finish these videos, since im basically losing out on my summer of work if i don't complete them.

I had a conversation with someone the other day, about youtube.. and it made me wonder, whats the actual point in making a video, i discussed with this friend for about another hour. until we got onto the topic of mr beast, and I came to a realisation.. (yes mr beast made me realise this), the current youtube meta.. that'll wave away in the next 2-5 years, that's gone.. all that algorithim hacking subtitled nonsense.. it wont survive because people will get sick of it. what i think will stick with people however, and what people will remember fondly is videos that make you feel something. not videos to engage your attention

Somewhat foolishly, my attempts to reach "emp lemon" levels of quality, have been in "replicating" his style, what i mean by this is i've tried to make an "emplemon" video.. however the appeal i find in emplemon is not HIS style, its the fact he shows off his OWN personality in his videos, you can't become emplemon by trying to become emplemon. you just become yourself.. 

And with writing that reflects my own passion and personality alot more deeply than previous videos, and something that makes you FEEL. is what i am going to hope to achieve, later on this year. 

my goal is to make you cry. and i will try my damn hardest to achieve it..

that's what im going to hope to achieve in the next batch of videos, after yandhi and after record4hype. (yandhi and record4hype are still my best videos).. However my "best" is not good enough when it comes to my goals. I will reach them, later on in the year. 

record4hype should be finished "soon"
