That sentence said with an Italian accent, especially when they repeated it quickly, sounded very similar to an Italian phrase, a rather crude way to say that something is badly made. It took me ages to realise it was not what they were saying.🤣

Every time one of you guys sing one of my favorites I am so giddy! Thank you to Foil for singing from the Jungle Book soundtrack on more than one occasion (I believe that was my first ever lp as a kid, I loved that album!). Thanks to Hog for the Clannad reference in the video here as well, I just googled them last night! ❤️

Thank you for the livestream (even though I'm watching it so late and likely no-one is seeing this)! It was fun to hear anecdotes about the recent tour, Australia stories, proper FAH-show seating etiquette, and the surprising news that you won't go to Edinburgh Fringe next year. Melbourne will be my first ever show and I chickened out and bought second row seats, and now I'm wondering whether that was far back enough 🤔 nah, I'm extremely overlookable, I think I'm good 😬

What I heard them say was ‘if you’ve already seen the show…’ Hog didn’t say ‘if you’ve already seen one of our shows…’ so it sounds like if you’ve seen Hogwash, please sit in the 2nd if you see it again. Hog said they need to have a decent number of people who haven’t seen the show to pick from for audience participation, and they only have a very limited time to set that up. They’ve talked at other times (Doomdah-fah interview?) about how if people have seen the show before, they will be anticipating things, and it throws off the timing, killing the laughs. As Foil or Arms said here, ‘Fresh meat!’ If you can’t provide that, they’d appreciate it if you move a row back. I wonder if they’d feel differently about venues that are set up like Vicar St., with tables and not fixed rows, and they (and their victims!) can get to the stage with relative ease from the 2nd or 3rd row.

It's because of the flow with the public. If they know you, they can't possibly cover everything they know to the public because it's better if it's someone new and they give a genuine reaction. This has been clear to me from the start and that's why you won't see me in first row anymore. (I wanted my first gig in first row and I did it)

I loved the live stream lads, it was great to hear all about the first part of your European tour and bits about the Fringe. I just wondered about Hog's comment about front row tickets though - if he knows me and I'm in the front row, is that really a problem? If you all could clarify, that would be most helpful. PS. Thanks for your time beforehand for the interview! I'm very grateful!!

Thanks so much for this stream and all the BTS and touring talk! I kinda wish I'd known that it would have been better not to book seats in the front before the wild post-pandemic ticket buying buzz for this year's shows. :/

Finally got to watch the full recording now. Came home late yesterday, started the stream and fell asleep around the time you spoke about the two year cycle for Hogwash. Woke up this morning convinced that I had dreamt that you weren't doing a new show for Edinburgh next year 🙈 A bit sad about that, but totally understandable and happy for all the FAHns that get to see the show around the world 🥳 Waiting for the additional European dates, let's see where Hogwash will take me next 😄

Couldn''t watch live yesterday due to work but a great watch today. Did you get any Moomin merch while in Finland? I was gifted Moonin tea and a cookbook by a Finnish friend. The tea was actually quite nice. You could get a chaise lounge to sit on for meet and greets. You could all sit on it then.
