DBC Tournament + May $10 Sleeves!
Added 2017-06-28 23:59:13 +0000 UTCHey there everyone! Just hitting you up with a mid-week update for a few things!
First of all, I've looked through all the suggestions for this month's Patron Deck Build Challenge Tournament, and I think I found one I like, or at least a framework.
The idea suggested was "Cards with 10 words or less in their text.", which I think could be really fun. However, it's a bit limiting, there's only about 50 monsters with that little of text, and most of them suck. I was thinking we could open things up to 15 words or less, open it even more with "one sentence of effect text only." Obviously the more open we get the less gimmicky and silly the challenge becomes, so I thought I'd leave it up to you all. Vote for which you like the best.
Also, I finished the $10 reward sleeves from last month. If you didn't see the poll, the two winning ideas were to create a sleeve design with all the anime protagonist's boss monsters, and to create a sleeve celebrating the new series's main link monsters: Link Spider, Decode Talker, and Firewall Dragon. Both are in the attached zip if you'd like to get them for yourself.
As one final note, I'll be going out of town on Friday, and while I'll be taking my laptop to hopefully give you guys an update, it may come very late, depending on when I arrive. Just a heads up.

Yeah, I was just worried that YGO has some pretty long sentences since PSCT.

It looks like it's going to be one sentence though, which should be easy to determine. It's a sentence if it has a period after it, if the text has more than one period, you can't use it.

2017-06-30 05:46:07 +0000 UTCThe last couple of times we started the tournament at around 3pm CST, which is the afternoon for most of the Patrons. I'll move it later in the day for this next one, but either way it's likely going to be early morning where you are. I'll come out with an exact date next update.

2017-06-30 05:44:29 +0000 UTC'Ey, I had a thought. How about we put the restriction on the number of lines of text (probably 3 or 4 lines) to make it easier to count?

2017-06-29 22:19:26 +0000 UTCIt's spelled 'sentence'. Also, what time are you planning to hold the tournament? Usually it's like 4 in the morning or sommat so I can't participate =/
