Things have gotten a little big difficult financially. I've always relied on my husband income as a consultant, but last week he lost his biggest client due to corporate restructuing, and now we're faced with having to truly make 8limbs.us self-sustaining. All this time I've also been generously supported by not only by family, friends and readers on Patreon, but also by my sponsors
and
. Everyone came together to help make taking this fighter/writer journey possible.
Coincidentally in the last week a few people have messaged me to say that they have been losing track of just how I've been doing as a person, and also as a fighter. I write so much and publish so much video it is hard to sometimes sort out the single personal thread. It is time for an improvement.
So I'm going to begin exclusive Patreon content for those who have pledged monthly to help me fight, film and write as much as I do. To start out this will involve more personal vlogs covering my personal experiences in more depth, and 15 to 20 minute training video with audio commentary, showing some of the briliant but maybe lessor known instructors and ex-fighters I come across. I'll still be filming monthly with legends for Nak Muay Nation members, but this will be on a smaller scale, maybe with more focus for those interested in my process of growing as a fighter.
Parallel to this I'm also creating a Closed Facebook Group just for Patreon supporters. All the Patreon only content will be available here on Patreon, but also in that Close Group where conversations can be had. I'll also post updates on future fight dates, and look for other feedback from my supporters.
If you'd like to join this community of supporters just pledge $1 a month. While one dollar might not seem like it will make a big difference, every hand lent raising the entire project up.
So far everyone who has been supporting me on Patreon has been doing so simply because they value all the writing, filming and fighting that I do. I'm on pace to have fought 200 times in Thailand in about 2 more years, hopefully a historic landmark which will inspire female fighters everywhere, young and old, to come to fight in Thailand as much as possible, and more importantly, to dream the impossible dream. Now it seems more than fitting that I work hard to give something really substantive back to my Patreon supporters who have offered so much. It is you that is making this all possible.
I'm excited about the Patreon Supporters Facebook Group. The idea behind the Group is really is for Patreon supporters to be able to easily follow what's happening with me in more personal ways as well as to share some exclusive in-depth technique for study. Cut to the good stuff.
If you are already a Patreon supporter I'll be adding you to the Group in the next days. Watch for communication from me too, as I may have to add you through email. Feel free to message me here, or on Facebook if I haven't yet added you there.
Again, thank you to everyone who is lifting me and 8limbs.us. Thank you to my sponsors Nak Muay Nation and Onyx MMA in Singapore.
