May 3rd Update + ALL THE FILES

Hey everyone! Time for another Friday update!

First of all, since it's the first update of the month, I've included all the downloadable files for everyone to enjoy below. This includes next week's What a Deck, and a song I made for next week's What a Deck Replay.

I've also included above a short video I made talking about new changes I'm thinking about making to the Patreon rewards. It's the same video I posted a few days ago, but I figured with something this important it couldn't hurt to post it again just in case someone missed it the first time.

With that out of the way, here's this week's updates.

- I've released this week's DBC early, since I don't have a bonus video this week.

- I'm going to try doing tomorrow's Yugioh stream on Youtube, which should get me a wider audience than usual. Same rules as always will apply though, meaning Patrons get first dibs on duels until we reach $31 of donations.

- I may do a bonus stream on Sunday as well, but no promises. I'm trying to get Patron rewards ready and re-tool the channel/Patreon/Twitch which is taking longer than I expected.

- Monday will be more Hollow Knight as per usual.

- Wednesday will be a continuation of Dust with Bootleg, which you should totally check out because it involves a potato funeral, and how often do you see one of those?

- Next week's What a Deck will be Red Dragon Archfiend Turbo with special guest Ron Clawed! It's not the best deck, but it is a fun episode nonetheless.

- Next week should also have a Replay video, as I hinted at earlier, with a new song.

And that's it for this week. Thanks again to everyone for all your support, and I hope to see you soon on stream!

Comments

Sounds like an extremely positive change my guy, I will happily bump my rates in the very near future. Chase your dreams, my man!

Hey man, I hope you have a great day! Here are my two cents on the patreon changes. I think your patreon changes are still very reasonable. I mean, you put a whole lot of time into deck building and making sleeves and what not. I'm sure that if we tried to do the math and figure how much per hour someone winds up paying for a What A Deck, it'S probably still very affordable in the grand scheme of things. Also, even if there were some backlash because you're making some of those perks slightly less accessible, I still think it's the best course of action. I mean, you said it yourself, there has been more demand than what you can supply recently. Either you roll with the requests piling up and make people wait longer and longer for their requests, or you make it less accessible to make the demand lower and more manageable. I admire your dedication to your patrons' satisfaction. Unfortunately, you just gotta pick your poison sometimes.
