if you could choose one global issue to solve, what would it be? ie what do you think is the most pressing issue the world faces rn, what issue gets you riled up

What do you think about the current state of the United States compared to China, and how capitalism is starting (or always has been) to split in terms of efficacy? Ex. companies trying to be ethical but losing money because of it vs. censoring and catering the Chinese audience by agreeing with Chinese policy.

Thoughts on the UK human trafficking situation?

What is your view on events such as Brexit or Catalonia? With population extremely divided on matters of independence, what is the best outcome for everyone?

In Malaysia, the education system has changed this year whereas 16 year olds can now choose the subjects that they want to study rather than just choosing a stream which the subjects are already chosen by the school, example science stream and arts stream. I forsee many problems like the lack of teachers for a particular subject and the principle arranging schedules for each individual student. There could be benefits to this, and thought u could shed some light on this.

I almost got arrested once for going through the emergency exit

Well in NYC there is a lot of issues with fare evasion; I do hop that shit too because fuck the MTA. But a few days ago a young man hopped the train and over 10 officers had guns pointed at him through the train. They tackled him to the floor and the NYPD put out a statement claiming that he had a gun but never found an evidence of it. They did that to cover up what they did. They are “stepping up enforcement” but it’s obviously making it worse. Anyways my question is, how else can they handle these situations because it makes people like me scared of cops?

Also what do you think about the extinction rebellion protests going on? Are they doing more harm then good?

Not sure if you’re aware of what’s going on in the UK right now with Brexit and everything but if you are then what’s you’re thoughts on people thinking the UK should have another referendum - after we have voted to leave the EU. Basically the vote was pretty close and now the people who voted remain including MP’s aren’t happy they lost the vote and are trying to have another vote. We were supposed to leave back in March and it’s been delayed twice already and probably going to be delayed again now until late January.

Have you been paying attention to what’s been going on in Lebanon? Basically their government is corrupt and incompetent and the citizens are sick of it so the Lebanese people have been having huge parties in the Capitol square as a protest. It’s like American protests except instead of chanting and wearing pussy hats they’re listening to EDM and shooting off fireworks.

for me understanding the news has become a lot harder recently because different websites will often give entirely different information on the same topic. so what do you do or where do you look to get unbiased information on current events?
