What would you like to see more of?

Decade is coming to a close, and this year marks the start of my youtube career (dropping out, going from 27k to 500k), but often times I feel burnt out because I push myself to do something different every video. As my biggest supporters, what would you like to see more of in the future? What works and what doesn't work? What videos should I do more of that I don't do as often? Would you like to see more frequent uploads? Longer videos? More variety? Please give me some objective criticism on my work as well as your opinion on how I could improve.

Comments

I don't know but have you ever thought of ever doing one on social media?

A travel video about different cultures, like when you went to Haiti with your dad but more in depth

Everything happens for a reason, falling in love, them 2 videos were a vibe and really well put together imo

Yeah it was phenomenal

What are you most passionate about? Talk about that unless you already did

I like when you talk about drugs

more stand up! I would love to go see you live, but I live across the country :/

Comentary / Motivation / Comedy

I would definitely like you to continue you your podcast on a weekly basis and eventually release it publicly on all the podcasts apps (and maybe on YT). As far as the length goes, it would be nice if it was close to about 1 hour, but you obviously shouldn‘t push it. Thematically i like it when you talk about pretty much everything (politics, social phenomenons, self-realization, girls, money etc). I would also try to get a lot of guests on there (not necessarily famous people) since it keeps things more fresh/interesting. As far as YT videos go, i think you are doing everything right, and i would stick to your motto ‚Quality over Quantity‘

I think that ultimately you cannot force yourself to produce quality content on demand- unless you feel absolutely compelled or inspired to talk about a subject. YouTube has an overstaturation of content, every app does at this point and i think it is evident of the unrealistic demand that is constantly put on creators. with a new decade and all ask yourself- why are you on YouTube? It must be crazy to have 500k people listening to you and asking yourself these questions can be daunting -but what do you wanna transmit to people? what do you value? I think most people like you/watch your videos because of your candid personality- we wanna see you grow because in a way we see ourselves in you. You call the bs that we also see. Maybe this isn’t even good advice but whatever your mind is picking up on we probably want you to share. Since you like films, maybe you can try drawing topics from them, since the best films imo talk about nuanced and timeless subjects and they can probably apply to society at large right now. Like not necessarily make videos talking about films but use the film as a vantage point for your topics More stuff like Sleepwalking in Queens would be amazing too

I think videos like "Why I'm going to be rich next year" really add to your style. Commentary/Motivation/Comedy. The topics you go for are really specific for each video. You could try to make "video series" (i.e. 5 videos) about a broad topic that has different things to talk about over several videos. It might help you feel less burnt out, given that you'd focus several videos on a main topic. The hard part would be to find such topic/theme.

You should continue doing those “video essays” with nice editing. Try to incorporate more stories from your life.

I would love to see Sneako vlogs, they seem easy to make and would allow you to show off your personality. Would be awesome

podcasts are good, honestly the Q&A style of podcasts are starting to get dull because a lotta people ask dumb questions or just give their opinions but maybe doing episodes where you talk about a specific topic or just current events with someone else (a podcast with almontefilms would be an instant watch) as far as regular videos go, videos about self improvement (ex. its okay to be uncomfortable, quality vs quantity, fake it till you make it) are usually my favourite from you, but I would be interested in seeing some of your opinions on music (that might not fit with the type of channel you wanna be running but that's up to you)

I would love to see more videos like Sleepwalking in Queens. It’s was beautiful and short, like a little movie. The way you can build a story and make me feel what you felt when you were writing it is special. I feel like the length of your videos is perfect, simply because they don’t feel forced. You say what you need to say and nothing more and I respect that. Last I feel like you have a very level head and you’re thinking in the right state of mind most of the time. Which makes me believe that if you were able to give life advice via personal anecdote, and throw some beautiful shots and edits on top of it, you and the viewer would benefit greatly from it.
