There is a brotherhood among cops. They will all fall in line with the first one to make a move in the name of that brotherhood. At the very least there needs to be a new approach to how officers are trained and how they are selected. Pride and ego have to be cut down in some sort of capacity before we see any real changes. It’s a hard task, but that’s why they hire “smart” people to do it. So us dummies don’t have to ponder on it too much.
