The city isnβt the same anymore because the rich people moved to big ass houses in rich cities around SF and then sold to the incoming rich, forcing the middle class to move to cheaper cities and the people barely getting by into the streets. The main issue of why rent is so goddamn high and there's so many homeless people is because of all these tech companies coming into SF. The companies come, along with their millionaire CEO's that drive the property value up past anything acceptable. Most houses go for 2 mil now.
