After slipping the noose over her head and sliding it tight it was a matter of squirming her arms through the elasticised belt buckled around her waist and pushing her arms behind her back. She took a moment to work her lips around the ball that filled her mouth feeling the straps around her head and face keeping it firmly in place. She could feel the steel cuffs as one half was already secured around her right wrist. She only had to slip the other half around her left wrist and with a simple click there would be no way out. With a start she realised that instead of thinking she had already done it and her hands were secured tightly behind her back. Suddenly everything became real, the feeling of the rope and straps around her body. The rope noose tight around her neck. Heart pounding she took one last look at herself in the mirror opposite and kicked away the stool......
